First edition, folio, four parts in one volume; volume II only of II; each part with separate engraved title pages and illustrated with an additional 157 full paged engraved plates with a short table at the end, otherwise completely engraved; lacking the portraits of Caramuel and John of Austria; bound in full contemporary German blind-tooled alum-tawed pigskin over wooden boards with catches and clasps present, edges stained blue, with parchment fore-edge tabs marking each section neatly labeled in a handsome calligraphic hand from the period, contents nicely preserved, a few plates folded at the fore-edge; 13 3/4 x 8 3/4 in.

Volume II only representing the plate volume produced to accompany Caramuel's Architectura Civil Recta y Obliqua.
